Stage 13: in Britanniā

We start Book II by meeting a new household. Salvius, a successful lawyer and senator in Rome, has been sent to Britain to help run the province. Rufilla, his wife, runs the household. Their son, Vitellianus, closely observes his parents, preparing for his own career in Roman high society.
